How this site is made

Who publishes the site, how the articles are written, and how the numbers are checked.

SoccerAnalytics.net is published under its own name. This page says who owns it, which other websites share that owner, how the articles are written, and how the numbers in them are checked.

Who publishes it

The site is owned by an independent publisher who also runs these websites:

  • Sports data: nflanalytic.com, mlbanalytic.com, nbaanalytic.com, collegeathleteinsider.com, sportsdatatutorials.com
  • Roblox: bloxtoolbox.com, bloxtradeview.com, robloxgamefinder.com, robloxhub.net
  • Calculators and reference: yalm.net, datafield.dev
  • Technology and games: coboltextbook.com, matrixcognition.com, passwordpassword.com, vibecodetextbook.com, prismdatalab.com, blastproc.com

None of these sites is affiliated with a club, a league, a broadcaster or a data vendor.

How the articles are written

The articles, explainers and tool write-ups are written with an AI model, Claude, made by Anthropic, working from public data and the sources named in each piece, under the owner’s direction. The owner decides what is published and when.

Until September 24, 2026 the site carried a personal byline. It now publishes as SoccerAnalytics, because the writing was never one person’s first-hand account. No article describes anyone’s own experience of watching or playing the game. Where an article says “we”, it means the site.

How the numbers are checked

  • Computed figures. Anything computed here comes from a dataset the site publishes — the 2026 World Cup feed at /data/wc2026_results.json, and the StatsBomb files at the data_layer/ paths the articles name — and the article writes the computation out so it can be redone.
  • New and updated pieces. Their figures are recomputed by a script before they are published, and the build fails if a published figure stops reproducing. Older pieces were spot-checked in site-wide reviews in July and September 2026.
  • Cited facts. Historical results, formulas and published figures are stated with their source.

If a figure cannot be verified, it is left out and the article says so. Corrections are marked on the page with their date.

Publication dates

Until September 25, 2026, 55 articles carried publish dates earlier than the day their pages were first built: 16 from the launch batch, dated from April 18 to May 30 although the site was built on June 4, 2026; 36 pieces dated June 1 to 8 that were built together on June 10; and 3 written on July 5 during a catch-up round and dated July 2 to 4. Each now carries the day its page was first built. Every other article is dated on or after that day.

Why an AI model

It makes it practical for a small site to work through full event datasets, recompute every figure from source, and show the working on each page. It does not replace the rule above: a number that cannot be traced to a source is not published.

Advertising and contact

The site is paid for by display advertising through Google AdSense; the privacy policy describes how. There are no betting tips, no sportsbook promotions and no sponsored articles. Corrections and questions go to contact@socceranalytics.net.
